post #3, time to draw

So I am thinking the blog is a good psychological tool! after writing last week about my procrastination on some new drawings, i spent an extremely productive week making many many drawings! who knows what may come of them, but it was good, relaxing, and let's face it folks, without good solid drawings behind them, these paintings would be nothing.  So i am honoring the process of drawing, and all that goes with it, and that especially (for me) includes having a great deal of patience. 

As for this week, what a week, and wouldn't that be the understatement of the century - a tear rolled down my face in pure joy and amazement that i was able to listen to the inauguration of Barack Obama (on WNYC, of course). Yes! 

And as for life thoughts, let's go back to that idea of Obama, that idea of change, that idea of hope, that idea of being inspired - and doing something about it! and let's apply that to all things, both big and small.  whaddya say?
